Learning about breathing is the simplest way of resourcing and sustaining our vital life force energy. It allows us access our deepest inner intelligence and transforms a Yoga practice into a self-renewing process.

This workshop explores how the complex dance of the diaphragms affects Yoga postures. We will study the fundamentals of internal and external respiration and examine how your relationship to the ground, gravity and space profoundly affects your ability to breathe.

We will also investigate the endlessly adaptive quality of the breath in asana and vinyasa and the therapeutic applications of breathwork as a powerful tool. This work is potentially life-changing.

All levels welcome.

What to bring: Yoga mat, 3 blankets, bolster, strap, block and small Gertie ball
